This was all achieved on a very tight deadline to ensure release to coincide with a television series. Delivered as Quark application files to the Ebury production department. Painting Paradise Published, edited, designed and typeset by Strathmore Publishing 96pp 240 x 189 mm cased hardback Bruce Killeen asked us to create and publish this memoir in honour of Julia Wroughton of the Inniemore Painting School at Carsaig on Mull. We helped select images to be included, then guided the author in structuring the book. Detailed colour correction was required for the paintings, and we arranged digital printing from final PDFs to enable a short run. It was very well received, and has reprinted. |

James Caird Society Newsletter Produced and distributed by Strathmore Publishing 16pp A4, published annually In 2006, the James Caird Society, which honours the memory of polar explorer Ernest Shackleton, asked us to redesign its newsletter. The design selected from a number of proposals has stood the test of time well, and its flexible column layout has made it possible to include very varied content without departing from the grid. We handle the whole job, from copy to mailing. |

British-Yemeni Society Journal Produced and distributed by Strathmore Publishing 96 or 128pp A5, published annually Following the success of the James Caird Newsletter, we were asked to refresh the annual journal of the British-Yemeni Society. The complex content includes footnotes and transcripts of Arabic which require diacriticals, so our knowledge of suitable typefaces played a part in achieving another timeless and inviting design. |

To achieve the best possible value, Strathmore sourced printing in China – and the job was passed on press by one of its team. Strathmore handled the whole job, including scanning and colour-correcting more than 400 illustrations. |
